We've also put together
some Albuquerque employment resources (see box below,
right). But now for some alternative thinking. And
it's simple logic really. A good resume writer, like any other
professional today, is connected. Specifically, connected to
the Web. In fact, you may be surprised at how many are
conducting their business over the Internet. With that being
the case, there's no need to tether yourself
only to writers with a physical presence in
Albuquerque.
An Albuquerque Resume
Service - Or An Online Alternative?
Each day that passes, there's ever increasing odds that
your ideal resume writer, a certified writer with
a work history in your very industry, might
be living in Phoenix or Denver or Boston – and
not Albuquerque, New Mexico. What if we told you that you
could access that writer with a few clicks of a mouse? And that
the entire transaction could be handled by phone, email and
fax?
Albuquerque, You're Going To Love
What We've Done
We've taken 10 of the most popular Resume Writing
Services on the Web and put them through their
paces. These are companies that collectively employ hundreds
of professional writers covering a broad spectrum of
industries and occupations. We wrote in-depth reviews for
each resume service, and gave them star ratings based on the
following:
|
» Writer
Certification
» Price and
Value
|
» Quality of
Workmanship
» Personal
Attention
|
» Satisfaction
Guarantee
» Timeliness
|
Pricing for these 10 Resume Services range from
$89 to $249 for a mid-level professional. Prices at the
higher range reflect an actual interview with you over
the phone to discuss your work history, and 2-3 hours of
work by your writer to craft a resume that will get
results.
I'll be honest; although each was popular, not every service
rated the same. In fact, the ratings range from 5 stars to a
single star. You'll find that our 5-star "Top Picks" offer
the most value and service.
[Note: If you're pressed for time, you might like to know
that ResumeWriters.com
received our highest rating. With certified writers
specializing in 5 dozen career fields, this company has been
delivering a 99.98% customer satisfaction rating since 1998.
Plus, they've got one of the strongest guarantees in the
industry... if you haven't gotten interviews within 60
days, they'll re-write your resume at no
charge. You can even choose to work with a new
writer for a totally fresh take on your resume. That cinched
the deal with us.]
All of this, and no Road Rage on
the Coronado Freeway!
Visit our home page, Review of Resume Writers, and
judge for yourself. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised
at your options. If not, well, you can always fire up the
car and strike out in search of a local firm. Either way,
best of luck in your job search.

↓ "Albuquerque lies at
the center of the New Mexico Technology
Corridor, a concentration of high-tech
private companies and government
institutions along the Rio Grande. Larger
institutions whose employees contribute to
the population are numerous and include
Sandia National Laboratories, Kirtland Air
Force Base, and the attendant contracting
companies which bring highly educated
workers to a somewhat isolated region. Intel
operates a large semiconductor factory or
"fab" just outside the city boundaries of
suburban Rio Rancho, in neighboring Sandoval
County, with its attendant large capital
investment. Northrop Grumman is located
along I-25 in northeast Albuquerque, and
TempurPedic is located on the West Mesa next
to I-40.
The solar energy and architectural-design
innovator Steve Baer located his company,
Zomeworks, to the region in the late 1960s; and
Los Alamos National Laboratory, Sandia, and
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
cooperate here in an enterprise that began with
the Manhattan Project. In January 2007,
Tempur-Pedic opened an 800,000-square-foot
(74,000 m2) mattress factory in
northwest Albuquerque. SCHOTT Solar, Inc.,
announced in January 2008 they will open a
200,000-square-foot (19,000 m2)
facility manufacturing receivers for
concentrated solar thermal power plants (CSP)
and 64MW of photovoltaic (PV) modules.
Forbes Magazine rated Albuquerque the best
city in America for business and careers in
2006 and the 13th best (out of 200 metro areas)
in 2008."
