And we've got some employment resources below. But
now for some alternative thinking. And it's simple
logic, really. A good resume writer, like any other
professional today, is connected. Specifically, connected to
the Web. In fact, you may be surprised at just how many
are conducting their business over the Internet. With that
being the case, why tether yourself only to
writers with a physical presence in Philadelphia?
You've Got Choices When It Comes To
A Resume Writing Service
Each day that passes, there's an ever increasing chance
that your ideal resume writer, a certified resume
writer with a work history in your very industry,
might just be living in Buffalo or Memphis or
Los Angeles. What if I told you that you could access that
writer with a few clicks of a mouse? And that the entire
transaction could be handled by phone, email and fax? That
you can forget the drive and never have to step inside an
office?
Philadelphia, You're Going To Love
What We've Done
We've taken 10 of the most popular Resume Writing
Services on the Web and put them through their
paces. These are companies that collectively employ hundreds
of professional writers covering a broad spectrum of
industries and occupations. We wrote in-depth reviews for
each resume service, and gave them star ratings based on the
following:
- Writer Certification
- Price and Value
|
- Quality of Workmanship
- Personal Attention
|
- Satisfaction Guarantee
- Timeliness
|
Pricing for these 10 Resume Services range from $89
to $249 for a mid-level professional. Prices at the higher
range reflect an actual interview with you over the phone to
discuss your work history, and 2-3 hours of work by your
writer to craft a resume that will get results.
I'll be honest; although each was popular, not every service
rated the same. In fact, the ratings range from 5 stars to a
single star. You'll find that our 5-star "Top Picks" offer
the most value and service.
[Note: If you're pressed for time, you might like to know
that ResumeWriters.com
received our highest rating. With certified writers
specializing in 5 dozen career fields, this company has been
delivering a 99.98% customer satisfaction rating since 1998.
Plus, they've got one of the strongest guarantees in the
industry... if you haven't gotten interviews within 60
days, they'll re-write your resume at no
charge. You can even choose to work with a new
writer for a totally fresh take on your resume. That cinched
the deal with us.]
All Of This, and no Gridlock on the
Schuylkill!
Visit our home page, Review of Resume Writers, and judge
for yourself. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If
not, well, you can always fire up the car and strike out
on I-95 in search of a local firm. Either way, I wish
you the best of luck in your job search.

↓ The city is home to the

Philadelphia is an important center for
medicine, a distinction that it has held since
the colonial period. The city is home to the
first hospital in the British North American
colonies, Pennsylvania Hospital, and the first
medical school in what is now the United
States, at the University of Pennsylvania
(Penn). Penn, the city's largest private
employer, also runs a large teaching hospital
and extensive medical system. There are also
major hospitals affiliated with Temple
University School of Medicine, Drexel
University College of Medicine, Thomas
Jefferson University, and Philadelphia College
of Osteopathic Medicine. Philadelphia also has
three distinguished children's hospitals:
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the
nation's first pediatric hospital (located
adjacent to the Hospital of the University of
Pennsylvania), St. Christopher's Hospital, and
the Shriners' Hospital. In the city's northern
section are Albert Einstein Hospital, and in
the northeast section, Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Together, health care is the largest sector of
employment in the city. Several medical
professional associations are headquartered in
Philadelphia.
With Philadelphia's importance as a medical
research center, the region supports the
pharmaceutical industry. GlaxoSmithKline,
AstraZeneca, Wyeth, Merck, GE Healthcare,
Johnson and Johnson and Siemens Medical
Solutions are just some of the large
pharmaceutical companies with operations in the
region. The city is also home to the nation's
first school of pharmacy, the Philadelphia
College of Pharmacy, now called the University
of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
